Description
The Boissan estate is located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. One of the oldest vineyards in the region, established in the 17th century, Christian Bonfils is the fifth generation leading the estate.
Grapes are hand harvested and undergo maceration for 8-10 days uncrushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats common for Grenache. The wine is then aged in barriques for 8-12 months. The result is an elegant wine with concentration and complexity.
Owners, Christian Bonfils and wife Cathy Bonfils come from families of generational wines makers in Burgundy. Together, they have established a reputation for their exceptional wines with tireless efforts in organic farming and sustainable practices in the vineyard.
