Description
Domaine de Boisseyt is one of the oldest estates in Chavanay which makes it a truly historic estate. Established in 1797 it was part of the Chol family for 6 generations. In 2017 the reins of the estate were handed over to Romain Decelle. In a new chapter of the Domaine's history, there is work being done towards converting the estate to biodynamic viticultural practices.
Located in the most coveted parcels in the Côte-Rôtie, Domaine de Boisseyt's plot in Côte Blonde is nestled between Guigal and Chapoutier. The vines are planted on steep granite slopes with a sand and limestone top layer. Côte Blonde is known for wines that are powerful and elegant with exceptional aging potential.
