Description
Six generations have been making wine at Bodegas Moraza located in Rioja Alta, Spain. There are 23 hectares under vine between the subregions of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Àbalos. The vineyards are organically grown, and biodynamic principles are followed. Janire, the winemaker, understands that their wine is a result of the complexity of the land and should express the terroir where the grapes are grown. The wine is made naturally - fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeast, the wine is fermented and aged in cement vessels, and it is unfiltered.
