Description
Domaine de Boisseyt is one of the oldest etates in Chavanay which makes it a truly historic estate. Established in 1797, it has been part of the Chol family for 6 generations. In 2017 the reins of the estate were handed over to Romain Decelle. In a new chapter of the Domaine's history there is work being done towards converting the estate to biodynamic viticultural practices. 

The plot of Les Rivoires in Saint-Joseph sits at 50% inclination making only manual harvest possible. The wines are known to have great concentration and structure. This wine comes from vines that were planted in 1949.
 
Taste
The nose is complex and offers a basket of dark berries, spicy notes, as well as aromas of tapenade. Medium plus bodied and structured, the wine well is balanced. Velvety tannins give a rounded mouth feel with a long finish.
