Description
Attis Bodegas y Viñedos is located in the centre of Val do Salnés, a small village located on the hillside of Mount Penaguda. Grape growers by profession, in 2000 to make their own wines. What was thought to be a crazy idea at the time turned out to be a succussful change and the family hasn't looked back. The winery owns and cultivates 5 hectares of vines divided into small plots located between 100 and 400 metres of altitude. Grapes are manually harvested and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperatures. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes extended lees aging for a period of 3 months to add to the texture of the wine.

Taste
A fresh, youthful expression of Albariño; notes of lemon zest, grapefruit pulp and ripe peach drive the wine. There is crushed rock minerality with bitter almond and white pepper on the finish. The wine is dry, medium bodied with elevated acid and slight phenolic bitterness.
