Owners, Christian Bonfils and wife Cathy Bonfils come from families of generational wines makers in Burgundy. In Rhône, they have established a reputation for their exceptional wines with tireless efforts in organic farming and sustainable practices in the vineyard. The next generation to take over the reins will be their son Victor and daughter Clemence. Victor will be at Fine Artisanal Wines & Food, presenting their wines, telling you about their story and teaching you a bit about the Rhône.

The Boissan estate is located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux in southern Rhône. One of the oldest vineyards in the region established in the 17th century, Côtes du Ventoux Rouge is made from a blend of Grenache and Syrah. Grapes are manually harvested from 30 year old vines. Aging in concrete tanks before bottling results in a fruit forward wine with notes well preserved fresh fruit aromas of plum and dark berries from the Grenache and spice and structure from Syrah.
